Our Firm just won a civil verdict in the amount of $85,000.00 in a breach of contract matter and unjust enrichment. Our clients had to sue to get the value of improvements they did to a piece of real estate belonging to another party. They had to sue to recover the value of the services they rendered to that property in that they built an addition to the property of another with the intention to live there for the rest of their lives, which was the essence of their agreement. The case was a non-jury trial in front of the Court of Common Pleas Judge who awarded the value our clients were requesting in an amount of $85,000.00.
