Recent Support Contempt Hearing

We were in Court this week before the Judge on a civil contempt for failure to pay child support. Our client had been incarcerated in prison for one month for non-payment of child support. He was supposed to do another five months in prison before his release. At the Contempt Hearing, the client engaged us to attend the hearing with him on his behalf. At the hearing, he was released from prison and his driving license was reinstated by the Judge. This was a very positive result for our client and his family. Now he can successfully get a job and start making his regular and timely payments on behalf of the child.
